Actor Rana Daggubati, whose latest release, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, has opened to great reviews, revealed in a recent interview that he lost vision in his right eye as a child.
The 32-year-old actor was at a Telugu chat show in which celebrities help people deal with their problems by taking up their job for a single day. “Should I tell you something, I am blind in my right eye. I see only from my left eye. The one you see is someone else’s eye which was donated to me after his death. If I close my left eye, I can see no one,” he said.
The Ghazi Attack actor spoke to a contestant on the show, and told her not to be fearful of being blind. “LV Prasad operated on me when I was young. Study well, we will support, be courageous as you have to look after her [the contestant’s child]. Sorrows will go away one day but you have to gear up and keep them happy [the children] always,” he added.
Rana Daggubati has acted in around 20 films over a span of eight years, and has made a mark for himself in the Telugu and Hindi film industries.
