After three months of strict lockdown, cinemas, entertainment venues, museums, and libraries are reopening today in Australia whilst adhering to the rules laid down by the government and regularly fumigating venues. While there is a limit on the number of patrons in certain cinemas and no limit in others, the ‘one person per two square metres’ is applicable for all halls across the country.
To begin with, theatres will be screening Rohit Shetty‘s 2018 action-entertainer Simmba starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan in their screens. Bankrolled by Rohit Shetty Picturez and Dharma Productions, in association with Reliance Entertainment, the film is the third installment to the Shetty’s ‘Police Universe’.
The film revolved around a corrupt police officer who is forced to follow a righteous path after trouble is inflicted on his close ones. The official Hindi remake of the 2015 Telugu hit Temper, the film reportedly grossed about Rs. 400 crore worldwide.
