Simmba, starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, has finally gone on floors. Produced by Dharma Productions, the action-comedy flick is the remake of the Telugu blockbuster Temper.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty took to Twitter to confirm the news:

The team began their first shooting schedule in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City. The film revolves around a dishonest cop who has a change of heart after an untoward incident shakes him. Ranveer plays the cop while Sara Ali Khan will be seen as the female lead.
The film also has an ensemble cast featuring Sonu Sood, Sangharsh and Ashutosh Rana. Apart from Simmba, Sara Ali Khan will also be seen in Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
Simmba will hit theatres on December 28.
