Tweeting a poster featuring his silhouette, the actor captioned it, “Yet another interesting & entertaining one lined up” on Saturday.

From looks of the announcement poster, it is seen that Havish Productions will be bankrolling the project while, A Studios LLP and Pen Studios will be co-producing the film.

It is also reported that Ritu Varma from Putham Pudhu Kaalai and Pelli Choopulu has been approached to play the female lead.  Ramesh Varma has approached and narrated the script to Ritu Varma who is reportedly impressed with the script and her character, but is yet to sign the papers.

Teja will reportedly be seen playing dual roles in the film which is billed to be a political entertainer. Seerat Kapoor, who has previously worked with Teja in Touch Chesi Chudu, has been roped in to play a key role in the film.

Meanwhile, Teja is currently working in the film Krack. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film’s shooting resumed last week. Krack was originally supposed to have released on May 8 but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The film features Shruti Haasan in the lead and actors Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles.

Although there were rumours going rounds in August that Krack will be heading for a direct release on OTT, Malineni rubbished them off and tweeted, “#Krack in theatres only,” along with the poster of the film.
