Director Sudha Kongara Prasad has confirmed that her film Saala Khadoos, starring Madhavan, is likely to be remade in Telugu. The film releases in cinemas this Friday. If plans for the Telugu remake come through, the director says she would love to direct it. “A leading Telugu actor has watched the film and has expressed interest to remake it. I’d love to direct it again,” Sudha told Silverscreen.in. The film is about the mentor-student relationship between a boxing coach (Madhavan) and his student, played by debutante and real life boxer Ritika Singh. Sudha added that the film was originally planned as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Madhavan had persuaded the team to make the film in Hindi as well.
