This comes after several film personalities like Shriya Saran, Prabhu Deva recieved flak for performing at a charity event organised by Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC) in New Jersey. The event was presided by Donald Trump, and was aimed at boosting his campaign among the Indian-origin voters.
Hillary Clinton has had many celebrity endorsements including Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman, Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce, Robert DeNiro and many others. In September, a Save the Date advertisement featuring many actors like Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johannson, Mark Ruffalo, James Franco and many others was released.
