Salman Khan has recorded a song for filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar’s Marathi film FU – Fun Unlimited, reports Mumbai Mirror. Manjrekar confirmed this at the audio launch of his film Rubik’s Cube.
Salman Khan, who was set to release the record label, Being Human Music, was supposed to have launched the film’s song too – but due to some delay, the music rights were sold to another record company.
Speaking about Salman, Manjrekar said that the actor does not readily accept a singing project unless it’s right up his alley. “With him, you need to pitch a song which is exactly in his zone. In the next six months, we aim to collaborate on a private album – hopefully, with Salman’s label backing me. Singles have a big market today, and private albums are doing exceedingly well. So expect an announcement soon,” he said.

The duo may also work together for a Marathi film. “There will be no special appearances for Salman. He is keen to debut in a Marathi film which I will be writing and directing. I am waiting to narrate the right script to him,” said Manjrekar.
Meanwhile, Salman is currently shooting for Kabir Khan’s Tubelight, starring Chinese actress Zhu Zhu. The film is set in the backdrop of the 1962 Sino-Indian war. It was recently reported that Salman was keen on having his ex-beau and colleague, Katrina Kaif in a cameo in the film.
