Vishal’s Sandakozhi 2 will go on floors in February. The film, starring Vishal and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles, will start on the third week of February, a report in Indian Express said. Director Lingusamy, who also helmed the original, is said to have postponed his bilingual production with Allu Arjun, to finish this much-delayed film.

Vishal is currently filming Thupparivalan with Mysskin. The actor will split his time between the sets of Sandakozhi 2 and Thupparivalan for a while, the report noted.
Sandakozhi 2 is a sequel to the 2005 film of the same name. The sequel has faced several delays, and was re-launched in late 2016, a good decade after than the original.
