Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Bajirao Mastani starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra will release in 2016, says a DNA report.

Initially, the film was slated to be released on December 25, but as the makers of Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon,announced that the film will be hitting the screens on December 18, Bhansali’s team decided to bring the film on December 18. But as the production giant Red Chillies pushed Dilwale release to December 18 this year, Bhansali team is in a dilemma. To avert a clash, Bajirai Mastani will be released in 2016 as a solo release.
SRK’s Dilwale will be the biggest film to release in 2015 and it will arrive as a solo release this Christmas. In 2007, Bhansali’s Saawariyaa and SRK’s Om Shanthi Om clashed in theatres and the Ranbir-Sonam starrer sank without a trace. Definitely, Bhansali doesn’t want to repeat his mistake.
