A picture of a dhoti clad Santhanam with actress Ashna Zaveri went viral on social media, after the two accidentally met in Tirumala Thirupathi yesterday. Several reports claimed that the two had married each other at Thirupathi. However, both Santhanam’s manager and Ashna clarified on social media that the meeting was a coincidence. Santhanam’s manager told Silverscreen.in, “Santhanam and his next film’s director had gone to Thirupathi to seek blessings from Lord Venkateshwara. Coincidentally, Ashna was also there, and they spoke for a while.”
Santhanam, who is already married to Usha, said the rumour had amused him,
