Venkat Prabhu’s eighth as director is Party. The film, which has the tagline ‘A Venkat Prabhu Hangover’, has music by Premgi Amaren and is produced by T Siva through his Amma Creations.
Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Nasser, Sampath, Jai, Shiva, Ramya Krishnan, Sanchita Shetty, Nivetha Pethuraj and Chandran will star in this project.
Of the star cast, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan and Nasser had earlier co-starred for Baahubali. Shiva, Jai, Sampath are regulars in Venkat’s movies.
A motion poster for the film was released earlier today.

Interestingly, this is the first Venkat Prabhu film since his debut with Chenmai 600028 that does not feature the music of Yuvan shankar Raja. Instead, Venkat has roped in his brother, Premgi Amaren, for the music. That does not necessarily mean that Premgi will not make an appearance in the project. Sources close to the director tell us that a special appearance may well be in the cards.
