Director Imtiaz Ali’s next film, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma, has been titled Jab Harry Met Sejal. Contrary to an older report, the movie will not be called “Ring”.
Two of the film’s posters were tweeted by Shah Rukh and Anushka separately, with the title an obvious homage to the Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal film When Harry Met Sally (1989), as well another Imtiaz film, Jab We Met (2007) with Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.

The film is a romantic drama with most of the shooting taking place in Prague, Amsterdam, Lisbon, and Budapest. Incidentally, the film marks the two lead actors’ third collaboration, after Anushka’s debut film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012).
Jab Harry Met Sejal is scheduled to release on 4 August, in a likely box-office clash with Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha.
