Shankar Mahadevan’s sings a song in Anegan that features Vairamuthu’s lyrics, set to Harris Jayaraj’s tune. Director KV Anand, who was present at the recording, was moved enough to tweet – “Sync of good music, lyrics and voice is magical!”
Harris Jayaraj echoed similar sentiments. “After eight years, Shankar Mahadevan still sounds the same. So fresh and energetic!” he said. The Shankar-Harris combo was last heard in the Suriya-starrer Ghajini.
Anegan features Dhanush and Amyra Dastur in lead roles.
