After the commercial failure of his directorial debut Raabta, Dinesh Vijan will now turn producer with his next project. The film is directed by Laxman Utekar, who has been the DOP (director of photography) for Bollywood films like 102 Not Out, Hindi Medium and Dear Zindagi.”
Slated to be a rom-com, the film has Kartik Aaryan of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety fame, as the male lead. Shraddha Kapoor has been roped in as the female lead.

The team wanted a heroine from the younger lot and Dinesh, who’s already working with Shraddha in his next production, Stree, met her to discuss the new film. The film which is yet to be titled, is expected to go on floors later this year after Stree and Shraddha’s other movie, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, release.
