Yeah you heard it right! Shruti Haasan shall soon be seen stroking her grey tresses and even sporting a few wrinkles for an upcoming Hindi film. The actress agreed, and we hear very willingly, to play the part of her older self in the upcoming Hindi movie ‘Yaara,’ to be directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
The director was on the look out for someone convincing enough to play an older Shruti. The film set over generations will also see actors Vidyut Jamwal and Amit Sadh play the young selves of actor Irrfan Khan and Tigmanshu himself, respectively. Shruti apparently felt it would be more convincing if she played the older role too and jumped at the opportunity.
