Actress Simran is all set to do an important role in music director-turned-actor GV Prakash’s upcoming flick, Trisha Illana Nayanthara.

Confirming this news, Simran told The Times of India that she agreed to do the film as the title caught her attention. She added that she was delighted when director Adhik Ravichandran narrated the script to her.
Simran’s portions will be shot from the second week of March. The actress also said that she has shed a few kilos for the film and is working on bringing an ultra-modern look on screen.
Shooting of the film is currently on. GV Prakash himself has scored music for the film which is produced by CJ Jayakumar under Cameo Films India banner.
