Artistes and film bodies pay tributes to ‘Nadigar Thilagam’ Sivaji Ganesan today on the occasion of his birth anniversary. Leading the pack was actor Kamal Hassan who had worked with Sivaji since a very young age. He said, “Like all naive fans of Nadigar Thilakam, I too believed his human body would be immortal like his body of work. After so many years, his sons and fans are still trying to come to terms with him not being there. Happy birthday Nadigar Thilakam alias Appa.”

The South Indian Nadigar Sangam, celebrated the 92nd birth anniversary of the actor by garlanding his portrait in its premises as well as his statue in Adyar. Junior Balayya, Ajay Rathnam and Balamurugan participated.
