A report in the Times of India suggests that Vijay is highly impressed with a script brought to him by SJ Suryah. The last time the two worked together was in 2000 on Kushi, which remains one of Vijay’s most successful films. There has been much speculation on who would direct Vijay’s 60th film, with some reports indicating it would be AR Murugadoss,. Other reports suggested it would be Sasikumar.
Vijay is currently shooting with director Atlee. The actor’s film Puli is in the post-production stage, and the team has been firefighting issues related to leaked creative content. The film is scheduled for a September release.
