Solo Brathuke So Better To Release on Christmas Day

Solo Brathuke So Better, starring Sai Dharam Tej and Nabha Natesh and directed by debutant Subbu, is set to have a theatrical release on December 25.

Actors Tej and Nabha took to social media on Saturday to announce the release date.

The film was initially scheduled to release in theatres on May 1, but shooting halted and the release was postponed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. In August, Tej took to Twitter to announce that the film has resumed shooting.

Sole Brathuke So Better is pitched as a romantic satire comedy. The trailer released earlier this year and featured Sai Dharam Tej as a college-going student who is actively involved in campus politics.

The Telangana government recently issued an order stating that theatres outside Covid-19 containment zones could reopen by adhering to Covid-19 safety guidelines. Norms prescribed include social distancing, mandatory usage of masks, frequent sanitisation, crowd management, controlling temperatures inside cinema halls and staggered show timings.

Andhra Pradesh theatres are still awaiting an official confirmation from the state government.
