Earlier this month Sonali Bendre took to Twitter and Instagram to announce that she has been diagnosed with high-grade cancer that has metastasized and is undergoing treatment in New York.
Today, the actress shared a heat-warming post about how her son has been a constant source of support during tough times.

The 43-year-old actress earlier said that she did not see this coming and that life throws surprises at you, when you least expect it. She further revealed that a nagging pain led her to run a few tests and an unexpected diagnosis thereafter.

The actress has taken the battle head on and is grateful for all the love and support she has been receiving.

Sonali is married to producer Goldie Behl and the couple has a 13-year-old son named Ranveer.
The actress is fondly known for her roles in several Bollywood films, including Sarfarosh, Major Saab, Duplicate, Kal Ho Naa Ho and Hum Saath Saath Hai.
Apart from Bollywood, she has also made a mark in several regional films such as Kadhalar Dhinam and Kannodu Kanbathellam in Tamil, Shankar Dada MBBS in Telugu and Anahat in Marathi.
Sonali was last seen in a cameo role in Akshay Kumar’s Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara.
