Sooraj Pancholi has dismissed reports that his upcoming film with Prabhu Deva is a remake of a South Indian film. He told DNA:
“As far as I know, it’s not a remake of any film. It’s an original — an action entertainer.”

A spokesperson for the film’s director Prabhu Deva, told Silverscreen:
“At present, Deva is busy with back-to-back acting commitments. Once he finishes this, he will start his Hindi project with Sooraj. The script has been locked and it looks like a racy action entertainer like Wanted starring Salman Khan.”
The female lead for the film has not been finalised as yet.
Pancholi was alleged to be behind the suicide of his actor-girlfriend Jiah Khan.
