Actor Srikanth is reportedly playing an important role in Maha, an upcoming ‘female-centric’ thriller that stars Hansika Motwani in the lead. Srikant plays Vikram, an Assistant Commissioner of Police.
His character appears throughout the film and to get his look right, and to give his character that extra edge the actor, reportedly, trained extensively.

The actor’s parts reportedly feature some of the film’s most suspenseful moments, and his portions have been filmed in Chennai.
Other actors who have important roles in this movie are national award-winner Thambi Ramaiah and actor Karunakaran. Produced by V Mathiyalagan for Etcetera Entertainment and directed by UR Jameel, Maha also features Silambarasan in a prominent role.
The shoot of the film is happening across locations in Chennai, and the makers have planned a summer release for the film.
