Director Srinu Vaitla has signed a two-film deal with producer C. Kalyan. Reportedly, Varun Tej might team up with Vaitla in his next, and the director has already started working on the script. An official announcement will be made in the first or second week of next year.
Vaitla’s previous project, Ram Charan Teja-starrer Bruce Lee: The Fighter, was a failure at box-office. Recently, Vaitla had got embroiled in a legal mess over his alleged domestic issues with his wife. Although his wife withdrew the case against him, the filmmaker’s image was tarnished overnight, and the failure of Bruce Lee further added to his woes.
