Days before the Television premiere of Baahubali: The Beginning, director SS Rajamouli has clarified that Baahubali 3 would be filmed, but would not form a three-part series with Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion. The announcement implies that the third film might be a spin-off set in the fictional world of the Maahishmati empire of Baahubali. The film’s lead Prabhas had said during an interview that he wasn’t aware of a planned third part. Confusion over the third film ensued, as SS Rajamouli had told TV 9 that Baahubali 3 was definitely on the cards.
