Actor Sudeep has filed a case at a Bangalore family court, seeking divorce from his wife, Priya. Sources close to the couple remain tight-lipped about the reason for ending their 14-year old marriage. It is said that they decided to part ways on mutual consent. Reportedly, Sudeep’s sister filed the divorce papers on his behalf and the actor confirmed the news with a series of tweets.

The actor also appreciated the media people for not blowing his divorce issue out of proportion. He further added that he has spoken to most of the media journalists and had given away the details.

It is also said that he was willing to give Priya the custody of their daughter and an alimony of Rs 19 crore. Proper details will be out only when the judgement is passed.
Actor Sudeep’s recent film was SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali and is awaiting the release of Chimbu Deven’s Puli. The actor is also busy shooting for KS Ravikumar’s bilingual film Mudinja Ivana Pudi.
