Sunainaa has been cast in a major role in the action drama Thondan, written and directed by Samuthirakani. The actress told Deccan Chronicle that she was happy to have been signed for the project.
She said, “I am really happy to have bagged this project and will join the sets on December 23. I am currently shooting for a Telugu project and I am looking forward to be a part of this ambitious team.”
Sunaina said that it was too early to talk about her role in the project. She did not specify when the right time would be.
“I think it’s too early to talk about my characterisation. All I can say is that Thondan will deal with a lot of important societal issues,” she said.
Samuthirakani, apart from writing and directing the film, will play an ambulance driver in the project. Vikranth will play his attendant. Thondan is all set to release in mid-2017.
