Director Hari’s S3, the third part of the Singam franchise, has completed its first schedule, shot in Vishakapattinam. The film’s publicist added that the team would begin shooting the second schedule in Karaikudi. Starting today, the second schedule will go on for 10 days, after which the team will return to Chennai to shoot the remaining portions.

The title and first look of the poster were released two weeks ago. Director Hari and his team had to settle for S3 as the title instead of Singam 3, as the production and distribution rights are with a different firm from that of Singam and Singam 2.
S3 stars Suriya, Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan. Singer-turned-actor Krish Balakrishnan and Radhika Sarathkumar, Soori, Chams and Robo Shankar form the supporting cast. S3 is produced by Studio Green and has music scored by Harris Jayaraj. Cinematographer Priyan and editor VT Vijayan are also a part of the technical crew.
