The Tamil remake of Malayalam film Maheshinte Prathikaram went on floors earlier this week. The film was officially launched at Four Frames Studios in Chennai on Monday. Udhayanidhi Stalin, who plays the lead actor, shared few photos of the launch on social media.
Udhayanidhi will be reprising Fahadh Faasil’s role in the remake and will act alongside actors Namitha Pramod and Parvathi Nair. Samuthirakani has written the dialogues for the film. He also has an important role in the movie.
Other members of the cast include actors Karunakaran and MS Bhaskar. Darbuka Siva has been roped in to compose the music.
Udhayanidhi and team will shoot the film on location in scenic Kuttralam and Thenkasi from July 19. It is expected that the film will be completed by the end of this year.
