Thiagarajan has acquired the Tamil remake rights of Hindi film Special 26. The thriller will have Prashanth in the lead while actors Sathyaraj, Prakash Raj, Nasser, Thulasi, MS Bhaskar, and Sayaji Shinde will form the supporting cast. Thiagarajan will direct the film in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. “I have almost finalised the female lead too. In a couple of days, we will confirm. The shooting will begin in the first week of December,” said Thiagarajan.
The original featured Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpai, and Kajal Aggarwal.
