Actress Thulasi Nair plays Sreela, a Tamil girl living in Mumbai in Yaan. The actress revealed that it was ‘relatively easy’ for her to slip into the character as it mirrored her real persona. She also considers it a privilege to have worked with some of the biggest artists and technicians, despite being only two films old. “It is always a privilege to work with directors who are willing to cast me in different genres. I am confident that Yaan will enhance my reputation as a versatile artist.”
Yaan also provided the actress with several ‘thrilling experiences’. The team had a schedule in Switzerland and another one in Morocco. The chase and stunt sequences were shot amidst simulated bomb blasts.
Thulasi is also very pleased that she got to lip-sync to Harris Jayaraj’s songs, just like her sister did in Ko.
Yaan, starring Jiiva and Thulasi will hit the theatres tomorrow. The movie marks the directorial debut of Ravi K Chandran.
