During the past three months, more than 20 celebrities belonging to the Telugu film industry had died. Attributing this to the work of ‘evil forces’, the entire film fraternity came together for a three-day ritual at Film Nagar recently.
The yagna, presided by Swarupanendra Saraswathi Swamigal, was held in order to drive out the ‘evil spirits’ present at the studios. “No star was forced to take part in it. This was purely done for the good of Tollywood,” a report stated.
