Film producer and actor Udhayanidhi Stalin started to shoot for his next yet-to-be-titled film, directed by Magizh Thirumeni (who has also directed Thadam), on Friday.
The film also stars Nidhhi Agerwal in the lead.

Produced under Udhayanidhi’s home banner Red Giant Movies, Arrol Corelli will be composing the music and Madhan Karky will be the lyricist. While NB Srikanth has been roped in to take care of the editing, Dhill Raj is in charge of the cinematography.
The film is touted to be a crime action thriller and reportedly, the makers are planning to complete the shoot by the year-end. The rest of the cast will be announced soon.
In August, Udhayanidhi announced that he will be playing the lead role in the Tamil remake of the Hindi film Article 15 which will be directed by Arunraja Kamaraj (who has also directed Kanaa) and produced by Zee Studios in association with Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP. The actor-politician also has Kannai Nambadhey, which is helmed by director Mu Maran.

Meanwhile, Agerwal also has a slew of films in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada lined up. She is set to feature in a yet-to-be-titled film opposite Mahesh Babu’s nephew Ashok Galla, who will be making his debut in the Telugu film industry. She will also star in the upcoming Tamil film Eeswaran, directed by Susienthiran and starring Silambarasan.
The film is bankrolled under Madhav Media and D Company banners which are headed by Balaji Kapa and KV Durai respectively. S Thaman will be composing the music for the film while, Thirunavukarasu will be handling the cinematography. On Friday, the Eeswaran team wrapped up the shooting and it has been revealed that the teaser will be released on Diwali.
Agerwal will be making her Tamil debut with Jayam Ravi’s Bhoomi. The film is currently in its post-production stages.
