The Srinath Ramalingam–directed horror film Unakenna Venum Sollu, earlier titled Daisy, will tell the story of a young woman who cannot be a mother, and the social judgement she subsequently faces. According to an official press release, her past decisions and their consequences will be depicted against a background of paranormal activities. The woman will be educated and employed at an MNC. An earlier press release had suggested that the film would showcase an eight-year-old girl’s spirit longing for love from her family.
Jointly produced by N Shanmuga Sundaram and Mohammad Yasin for Juna Pictures, Unakenna Venum Sollu features Deepak Paramesh, Jacqueline Prakash, Gunalan Mohan, Morna Anitha Reddy and Mime Gopi. The film has on board art director CH Mohanji, editor Hariharan, cinematographer Manish Moorthy, and music director Siva Saravanan.
