Varun Dhawan has passed on an opportunity to act in Dangal filmmaker Nitish Tiwari’s next. The project is said to be an adaptation of Alma Mater founder Varun Agrawal’s book – ‘How I Braved Anu Aunty and Co-founded A Million Dollar Company’. Siddharth Roy Kapur is the producer.
According to a Deccan Chronicle report, Dhawan chose not to be a part of the project as he did not feel that he was equipped enough to play real-life characters.

“I’d love to play these glorious people, who brought such recognition to the country. But to be very honest, I don’t think I’m emotionally or spiritually equipped to handle such roles. Maybe later in my career, but right now, I don’t want to play real life characters,” Dhawan was quoted as saying.
At present, Dhawan is a part of Judwaa 2 with Taapsee Pannu and Sui Dhaaga, in which he shares screenspace with Anushka Sharma.
