Director KV Anand has signed on his next film with AGS entertainment, and the film will star Vijay Sethupathi and T Rajendar in lead roles. The director announced the news on Monday.

The inclusion of actor T Rajendar has raised quite a few eyebrows in the industry. TR, known for his rhyming dialogues and exaggerated expressions was last seen in Veerasamy (2007), which he directed himself. However, he has remained in the spotlight, thanks to the songs he has sung in the recent past, and regular public appearances he makes.
The film will be bankrolled by AGS entertainement which produced KV Anand’s previous film Anegan. Writers Suresh and Balakrishna, who have collaborated with Anand in all his films, will be writing the script for this project too. The details on cast and crew will be announced shortly.
