Actor Vikram will be donning the role of a police officer in his upcoming film with director AG Amid, said a The Hindu report. The last time the national award-winning actor played a cop was twelve years ago, in Saamy.
Reportedly, the film will be a thriller like Amid’s previous film Rajathandhiram. Vikram’s 10 Endrathukulle has entered the post-production stage, with about three days of shoot left. He has signed his next film with director Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame. The pre-production work of the film is underway, and the shoot will start in a few weeks. The AG Amid project will begin after he completes the ongoing projects.
This urban-thriller film will have Silverline Film Factory, the makers of Vikram’s shelved film Karikaalan, bankrolling it and Amid’s brother Ghibran composing the music.
