Vishal and Anisha Alla are set to get engaged on March 16 in Hyderabad. The couple had recently confirmed they were in a relationship.

Vishal’s official spokesperson confirmed the news. The spokesperson told Silverscreen, “The two will get engaged in Hyderabad on March 16. The function will mostly be attended by family members.” Incidentally, Arya and Sayyeshaa got married last weekend in Hyderabad, and Vishal had attended the function.
Anisha Alla had made their relationship public on social media. The Arjun Reddy actress posted a photo of the couple on Sankranti day, and said it was a ‘new beginning.’
The actress said that she had “found somebody to go down the path of life with, loving him and life with true passion… I vow to give back to him, the families and the people around with this step forward.”
Vishal was earlier quoted in an English newspaper as saying, “It is true that Anisha Reddy and I are getting married. It is a love marriage. I met Anisha at a wedding ceremony, and we have been in love since then. Once the Nadigar Sangam building is complete, we will get married, and there is no change in this.” The actor had also said that the wedding will take place in Chennai.
Meanwhile, Times Of India reported that Anisha’s father is a businessman based in Hyderabad. The report also said that as the Nadigar Sangam secretary, Vishal was waiting to finish the construction of the Sangam’s new building. The building was supposed to be complete by January 2019 but has been delayed to March or April. Vishal’s wedding will happen after that.
Earlier, there were speculations that the actor was dating Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and they would get married soon. Varalaxmi denied this as a rumour, and said in an interview to a Tamil daily, “We are very close friends. We share things, but reports about our relationship are all false.”
Meanwhile, Vishal is gearing up for the release of Ayogya. The movie is a remake of the Telugu film Temper. Directed by Venkat Mohan, the movie features Raashi Khanna in the female lead.
