Vishnuvardhan might just get to direct Ajith Kumar again. If the project does materialise, this is will be the third time Ajith and Vishnuvardhan collaborate for a film. They’d earlier worked in Billa and Arrambam.
The director told Deccan Chronicle: “If the project is confirmed, I would be the first person to tell it to the world. As of now, I am not in a position to comment on it.”
Yuvan Shankar Raja is said to have been roped in to compose the music. Actress Nayanthara is the front runner to play the female lead.

Reports indicate that this film is of the period genre and that the male lead will be a Chola Prince. This is an effort on Ajith’s part to cash in on the period film trend that is gripping the industry, following the huge success of Baahubali.
Meanwhile, Ajith is busy completing the shoot of his next movie, Vivegam. The movie will hit the screens in August 2017. The final schedule of shooting is being completed in Bulgaria.
The movie stars Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan and Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi in pivotal roles. Ajith is essaying the role of an investigative officer in the movie.
