‘Vishwaroopam 2’ Not Being Filmed In Turkey, Says Rajesh M Selva

Social media was abuzz recently with reports that some scenes for Vishwaroopam 2 were being shot in Turkey. However, Thoongavanam fame Rajesh M Selva, an important crew member of the project, dismissed the rumours.

He told DC:

“We don’t know which rumour we have to clarify, because there are a lot of them going around. We haven’t decided about the shoot and only the talks are on.”

At present, the team is hard at work to make sure the film’s VFX work is complete.

“There are many stunt sequences in the sequel that involves a lot of CG portions. The work is almost in its tail end. Only a very little portion is left to complete.”

He also asked fans of Kamal to not believe any information that was not released through the official social media channels of those involved in Vishwaroopam 2.

“Other than the information that is released through our Twitter handles, nothing is true. We have about 10 per cent of the post production work left. In terms of shooting, we have very minimum left to cover,” he signed off.

Vishwaroopam 2 is the long delayed sequel of the film of the same name. The first part released to great success in 2013.  The movie has actors Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapoor and Andrea Jeremiah in pivotal roles.
