Radhika Apte and Netflix India have come up with a perfect response for those of you who have been complaining about having to see too much of the Sacred Games star on the digital streaming platform. Titled ‘Omnipresent’, the two-minute clip claims to be a sneak peek into a supposed ‘magnum opus’ of Apte’s in which she’ll be playing all the characters.
Hold your horses before getting excited! Because none of this is to be taken seriously. The video was merely an attempt on the part of Netflix to mock at Apte’s detractors. After featuring in three Netflix productions, namely Lust Stories, Sacred Games and this month’s Ghoul, the audience, especially on social media platforms, complained of a Radhika Apte overkill and began venting out their frustration on social media.
Love how film makers cast Radhika Apte whenever they want to brand their project as "indie"

Why doesn't Netflix get new actors for their series? They keep repeating same actors like Radhika Apte. It seems like I'm unable to distinguish if ghoul is the next season of sacred games. Lol #Ghoul

With Vikramaditya Motwane making a guest appearance and Apte talking about her love for acting, the video has the viewers going for a while before revealing its true colours. The video then presents Apte in the different getups of the roles she’d be playing in the show – an oppressed villager, a virtuous social activist and an evil corporate oppressor. The video comes to a close on a laugh-out-loud note that is best experienced in visuals than words.
Apte was last seen on the big screen in PadMan which came out in February this year. Her next theatrical release is Sriram Raghavan’s Andhadhun which won’t be out at least until October. While a seven-month gap is not unusual or unheard of in Bollywood, it was her decision to do three Netflix productions simultaneously that drove the Twitterati nuts.
