Actor-politician Rajinikanth who visited Tutricorin two days back encountered the question of his life from a youth who was under treatment at the hospital. The young man named K Santhosh Raj asked Rajinikanth: “Who are you?”.
Following this, the hashtag #NaandhaanpaRajinikanth (I am Rajinikanth) remained on top of Twitter trends for several hours. Santhosh Raj and his college-mates formed the All College Students’ Federation, that played a pivotal role in the Sterile protest. During his march towards the District Collectorate on May 22, he suffered a head injury after multiple blows during a lathe charge. Ever since then he has been raising embarrassing questions to VIPs visiting the hospital.
This became a serious issue to social media and other news organisations. However, Santhosh Raj has now created a testimonial video in which he explains what happened.

In the video Santhosh mentioned that he raised such questions not just Rajinikanth but against everyone who came and visited the hospital. Furthermore, he also said that had Rajinikanth attended and raised his voice against the Sterlite issue previously, then the Tutricon disaster could have been totally taken into control. In a fear of deviating from the original issue, he also requested all the meme creators and other media organisations to stop using his name and his words.
