Warner Bros. and DC have revealed that there will be a Wonder Woman sequel – as of now titled Wonder Woman II, during the recent San Diego Comic Con.
A story in ABC News says that the studio flashed the title card of the Wonder Woman sequel: Wonder Woman II, as part of a sneak peek of their upcoming movies – including Justice League, Batman (with Ben Affleck as Batman), at their session in the San Diego Comic Con.
Silverscreen earlier reported that while Gal Gadot had a studio contract to play Wonder Woman in all of DC/WB productions involving the character, director Patty Jenkins has no such contract. So while Wonder Woman will come back for a sequel, and Gal Gadot will play the character, nothing else is known about the project.
Meanwhile, DC and Warner Bros released a trailer and a preview of the new Justice League film, which features Wonder Woman, but no Superman. Watch here:
