The Tamil remake of the Hindi film Tumhari Sulu has been titled Kaatrin Mozhi, directed by Radha Mohan who, incidentally, last directed Jyothika in his film Mozhi (2007).
It was reported earlier that Jyothika will be reuniting with the Mozhi director Radha Mohan for the official Tamil remake of Bollywood film Tumhari Sulu, starring Vidya Balan. As per the latest report, Myna actor Vidharth has joined the cast.
After weeks of speculation, the makers of the Tamil version of Vidya Balan’s film Tumhari Sulu have confirmed that Jyothika will play the lead in the film. The remake will be directed by Radha Mohan, who had previously worked with Jyothika on Mozhi in 2007.

All this inspired him to turn his 2005 script into a commercial film around a DSP who travels to different parts of the country to solve the case.
Actress Vidya Balan, who is all geared up for her upcoming Tumhari Sulu, says that she has given her 200 per cent to the film and hailed it as one of the best scripts she came across in a long time.Vidya is known for hard-hitting and intense roles but with Tumhari Sulu, she will be seen in a whole new funny and full of life avatar, which, according to her, is amazing.
