Kaththi Sandai Trailer & HD Songs Launch In Pictures: Vadivelu Makes Comeback in Kaththi Sandai, Vishal Can’t Thank Him Enough For It

Kaththi Sandai’s audio launch began fashionably late. But the team behind the event compensated for it with a dazzling show of fireworks just as the film’s music was launched.

Actor Vishal confessed that the main reason he’d signed up for Kaththi Sandai was actor Vadivelu. “I wouldn’t have joined this if not for Vadivelu Anna. I am very proud to have shared screenspace with him. First victory was when he acted with me in Thimiru; next victory was when Vadivelu annan supported us through our Nadigar Sangam campaign and the third is when he acted with me in this film.”

He also said that he was ‘fortunate’ to have two extremely funny actors in the same project. He was referring to Soori.

Actor Vadivelu spoke of how many people started treating Kaththi Sandai as his comeback film. “Everybody kept telling me that I’d taken a long gap from films. I told them ‘Gap-um kedaiyadhu, Aappum kedaiyadhu’.”

Vadivelu plays a psychiatric doctor in the film. “My first question to director Suraaj was whether my character is a ‘dubakur‘ doctor. But he assured me that it was not so.” The director’s  script for Kaththi Sandai received Vadivelu’s stamp of approval, who called it ‘an exciting project’.

Suraaj said that the best part about working with Vishal was that there would be no piracy. “One day, Vishal called me and told me that he was rushing to someplace to catch people who were involved in piracy. This man is doing so much for someone else’s films, will he let anyone illegally sell his own film? That’s one of the most re-assuring thing about this combination.”

The film has music by Hip Hop Tamizha. Aadhi’s face was plastered all over the stage, while his music partner Jeeva’s photo was nowhere to be seen. Also missing was the film’s female lead Tamannaah Bhatia. While the fireworks were alright, our photographer really missed Tamannaah. Nothing, apparently, could make up for that.
