As if the ‘sale’ season is not reason enough, Forum Vijaya Mall in Chennai saw a crowd like never before on Saturday evening. Wearing a festive look, the mall had singer KK performing a live concert at the atrium. He sang from a list of his popular hits including ‘Appadi Podu’ from Ghilli, ‘Uyirin Uyire’ from Khaaka Khaaka, ‘Strawberry Kanne’ from Minsara Kanavu. Apart from these Tamil chartbusters, he also performed songs from Bollywood films such as Metro, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and New York among others. He also spoke about his journey to playback singing, and his relationship with AR Rahman. He shared the news that he will be completing 20 years of playback singing next year.
While most concerts at the mall end by 7:30 pm, KK took an extra forty minutes to end his gig, and the audiences were more than delighted!
