On Wednesday evening, actor Nani took to social media to release an out-of-context video featuring himself. In the video, he was seen talking about how one can watch a movie repeatedly even if it has been seen in theatres, how our houses have turned into theatres and brought the cinema experience home, and how he was missing the excitement that would prevail on the day of a film’s release. In the end, he added, “V have an announcement” and said it would be out tomorrow.

Bankrolled by Dil Raju, Shirish, and Harshith Reddy under their Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, V is about a cop whose life changes when a killer challenges him with a puzzle.
On the technical front, Amit Trivedi is on music with Thaman S on the background score, PG Vinda is on cinematography, Raveendar is on art, Marthand K Venkatesh is on the edit, and Ravi Varma is on the stunt.
Nani who enjoys thrilling dramas with fast-paced action promises the same with his film V. “The cat-and-mouse game between Sudheer Babu’s and my character is what drew me the most to this project. I am very excited about the global premiere of my 25th film . I could not have asked for a bigger tribute to my fans and supporters, than to have V available to watch anytime, anywhere on Prime Video, across 200 countries and territories. Interestingly, the movie marks its global premiere on the same day that my first film released – 5th September!” said Nani.
Producer Dil Raju said, “We have received a phenomenal response for our movies like Jaanu, F2, MCA, Maharshi, and Sarileru Neekevvaru on Amazon Prime Video. They have been a great partner in taking our content to consumers not just in India, but outside the country as well. We are thrilled to take our association a step further with the global premiere of V.”
“It is our endeavor to bring the latest entertainment across languages and genres for our customers and work with the best of talent. Telugu cinema has delivered blockbuster hits that have not just entertained audiences but also conveyed important social messages. Our service, in fact, gets maximum engagement from Telugu content aficionados and customers only. We are thrilled to present an all-out action-packed, visually-stunning entertainer – V, to our audiences,” said Vijay Subramaniam, Director, and Head, Content, Amazon Prime Video India.
The film was earlier slated to hit theatres on 25 March 2020 for Ugadi but was delayed due to the lockdown. The teaser of the film dropped in February and has garnered over 11 million views.
