2.0 Footage From BBC Documentary Leaked

A leaked clip from a BBC documentary on 2.0 shows footage from the sets of the Rajinikanth film. Actor Amy Jackson can be seen in what looks like a dance sequence. Along with some background dancers, Amy can be seen in front of a green screen. She is heard saying that she learnt dancing only after working in 2.0. Another video shows her practicing her dance moves for the song ‘Enthira Logathu Sundariye’ from the film.

The footage features VFX specialists talking about the extensive work on the film and how they have come to prefer the Indian film industry over Hollywood, in part due to the almost unlimited budget set aside for movies.

Soon after a social media user posted the link, the video went viral, prompting the film’s spokesperson to express shock at the way the content has been leaked months ahead of the film’s release.

Speaking to Silverscreen, the spokesperson said: “The documentary happened a while back and we were not expecting it to be out anytime soon. To see important sequences on the leaked clip is a huge shock to the team. We are in touch with the BBC and the documentary makers to try and understand how the leak happened and what we can do to make sure that it is taken down.”

2.0, with Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson, Akshay Kumar in lead roles, is a sequel to Endhiran. The movie has been delayed due to the extensive VFX work. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the film, while Shankar is the director.

Reports indicate that 2.0 will feature Chitti (the robot created in the first film) alone.

Two songs from the film were launched in October 2017, with the stars flying out to UAE for the event.
