Our song for World Dance Day ‘Punnakaiyil Minsaram’ from the 1992 film Bharathan, starring Vijayakanth and Bhanupriya. They dance to Prabhu Deva’s choreography, and the song created waves when it released. In a clean white background with no other dancers, Bhanupriya moves effortlessly, and Vijayakanth is almost as stylish and good. The song was rendered by Ilaiyaraaja and S Janaki, and featured one of the best percussion portions.
