Music director turned actor GV Prakash’s next film has been tentatively titled Kaipulla, after a famous Vadivelu character from the movie Winner, according to a TOI report. The film will begin shooting in October, and is likely to be a comedy. Sam Anton of Darling fame will direct Kaipulla, marking the second collaboration between Anton and GV Prakash. Prakash will also be shooting for director Prashanth’s upcoming film Bruce Lee in October.

Sam Anton is currently finalising Kaipulla’s script. The film will be produced by KE Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green.
GV Prakash has a number of films in the pipeline, including Adhik Ravichandran’s Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Mani Nagaraj’s Pencil, Prahsanth’s Bruce Lee, and Guna–Shankar’s Ketta Paiya Da Indha Karthi. The commercial success of Sam Anton’s Darling was a key factor in GV Prakash’s popularity in the industry.
