Actor-Director Samuthirakani will be seen in an important cameo in Poovarasam Peepee, directed by his protégé Halitha Shameem. Speaking to Silverscreen, the 27-year-old director said that the film was about childhood and the effect of violence on innocence. “The film is a summer adventure along the lines of the Famous Five series,” she said adding that the movie was about 3 kids who manage to escape danger – physically unscathed by emotionally altered. Talking about her experience directing the kids, Shammeem said, “It is great fun working with kids. One does not have to put up with egos.”
